Up-to-date with latest trends and marketing best practices
Comfortable working with numbers, metrics and spreadsheets
Has proven brand and new business development experience
Practiced in building effective working relationships with clients and work colleagues and uses these to add value to the business
Degree in Marketing Management
Minimum 5 years relevant experience
Clear Criminal and ITC record
Develop and build strong brand strategies to ensure client remains the top legal firm nationwide.
Analyse brand strategies based on industry research, internal reports and statistics.
Recommend, implement and monitor both medium and long term brand strategies and the effective deployment of the marketing budget.
Successfully implement and execute the above brand strategies in line with the marketing strategy incl. Media strategy, events & other marketing activities.
Consistently monitor and track brand performance and take corrective action, when necessary.
Ensure positive brand representation in the media with PR team
ATL media recommendations, buying and placements in line with the communication and brand positioning strategy.
Evaluate the creative execution and media plans in line with the relevant target audience.
Monthly reporting, Quarterly review and projections, Annual budgeting.
New Business Development:
Identify trendsetter ideas by researching industry and related events, publications, and announcements; tracking individual contributors and their accomplishments.
Identify potential clients, and the decision makers within the client organization.
Detailed research reports, including market and customer information on new and potential clients.
Plan approaches and pitches by working with the team to develop proposals that speaks to the client’s needs, concerns, and objectives.
Take full responsibility for the content and accuracy of these proposals.
Present client to potential clients through face to face meetings (practice leaders/ partners and the client), telephone calls and emails.
Develop a thorough understanding of client objectives and business requirements, including return on investment Keep accurate records on clients at all times - to update on a daily basis.
Provide data/reports showing follow up activity with current and prospective clients.
